Electrode Placement Guide

Key Principles

✔ Use two electrodes (standard configuration) or 4 if you choose that option with the adhesive pads 
✔ Keep the current path localized for most applications

⚠️ Safety Rules

👉 Allowed:

• Same-side placements (including same side of the head)

👉 Do NOT place electrodes:

• Across the head (e.g., between the temples)
• On opposite sides of the head
• Across the chest (heart region)
• In positions similar to defibrillator pad placement
• In any configuration where current may pass through the brain or heart

👉 Always ensure: The current path does NOT cross the critical organs (brain or heart)

⚠️ Important Safety Notice

• Do NOT use on or near the heart
• Avoid cross-head electrode placement
• Do NOT use if you have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device

⚡ What You May Feel

• Initially: little or no sensation. IF your skin is dry and overall you are not well hydrated, it will take longer to feel the pulse if at all.
• After a few seconds:

• Increase gradually based on comfort
